installed in my ‘97 ram sport 1500 short box 2wd. 5.9 L V-8. fast and strong start ups. improved throttle response. best results are realized when you combine this coil with low impedence ignition wires and proper plugs. works fine with factory recommended champion rc12yc. ive even gotten compliments on how my truck starts up. for those that dont like msd products, accel is the right choice for your performance ignition needs.

This unit replaced the stock coil in my 1995 Jeep Cherokee with the 6 cylinder engine. Since installing, start ups have been faster, a slight increase in horsepower was felt, and my mileage went up a bit too. I’de recommend installing this performance coil if you are upgrading your ignition system, or even just installing new performance plugs, to get the most power and efficiency out of your engine. Just a great upgrade, hands down.
